Product Description

The HIROSS AIR HR-280AC is a refrigerated air dryer rated at 28 m³/min, with a maximum working pressure of 0.6–1.0 MPa and a pressure dew point of ≤ 5 °C. It uses R410A refrigerant and accepts inlet air up to 65 °C, which reduces the cooling load on the upstream aftercooler. Four gauges on the front panel show air pressure, evaporating temperature and working pressure, and the digital controller — labelled "Energy Saving Refrigerated Compressed Air Dryer" — displays compressor and fan status plus alarms. Power consumption is 5.145 kW on a 400V / 50Hz supply.

Advantages

1. Stable ≤ 5 °C pressure dew point A refrigerated dryer holds the pressure dew point at ≤ 5 °C under the rated condition, which removes most of the water vapour from compressed air before it reaches tools, valves and cylinders. At that level, condensed water no longer collects in receivers and drop legs, so the usual symptoms of wet air — rust in steel pipe, blocked orifices, sticking valves and rejects in pneumatic processes — are controlled at the dryer rather than at each point of use.

2. Handles inlet air up to 65 °C The inlet air rating is ≤ 65 °C, higher than the 40–45 °C class of a standard refrigerated dryer. Where the compressor room is hot or the aftercooler cannot pull the air down fully, the dryer still accepts the load instead of tripping on high condensing temperature, and the upstream aftercooler or cooling water requirement can be relaxed. It also means the dryer can be specified for sites where summer ambient temperature climbs, without adding a second cooling stage ahead of it.

3. R410A refrigerant R410A is a widely used, readily available refrigerant with a well-established service network. Spare topping and service are straightforward for maintenance teams, and the refrigerant type is declared on the specification rather than left open.

4. Four gauges plus a digital controller The front panel carries four instruments — air pressure, evaporating temperature and working pressure — with bilingual labels, and the digital controller screen is labelled "Energy Saving Refrigerated Compressed Air Dryer". Compressor and fan status and alarm conditions are visible on the same face, so the duty operator can read the machine's condition without opening the cabinet.

5. Capacity sized for mid-size plants The 28 m³/min rated air capacity at 0.6–1.0 MPa covers the common mid-size compressor room, where several machines feed a shared header and a single dryer follows the aftercooler and receiver.

6. Defined electrical load Power consumption is declared as 5.145 kW on a 400V / 50Hz supply. That figure lets the electrical contractor allocate the feeder, switchgear and cable size before delivery, instead of leaving the load to be measured on site, and it makes quotations easier to compare because the running load is stated directly rather than implied from motor size.

7. Service-oriented cabinet The unit is built as a powder-coated panel cabinet on a black base, with a lockable service door giving access to the refrigeration circuit and electrical panel, and the process connection arranged on top of the cabinet. Piping and maintenance access are therefore kept clear of the surrounding plant.
