The HIROSS AIR HR-90F is a precision air filter for compressed air lines, rated at 90 Nm³/min with a working pressure range of 0.6–1.0 MPa and a filtration rating of 1 µm. Inlet air temperature may reach 80 °C. The housing is a vertical cylinder with flanged connections on both sides and a bolted base flange for floor mounting, so the unit sits directly in the pipe run without extra supports. It is installed downstream of the dryer to protect instruments, valves and point-of-use equipment from particles and carryover. Element grade and connection size are specified to match the line.

1. 1 µm filtration rating At 1 µm, the filter captures fine particulate that passes through general-purpose filters. Downstream instruments, air motors and spray equipment see cleaner air, which reduces nozzle clogging, valve sticking and the slow build-up of deposits inside control lines.

2. 90 Nm³/min rated flow The 90 Nm³/min rating covers large plant flows, so one filter handles the full header instead of several smaller units piped in parallel. Fewer housings mean fewer flanges, fewer joints to leak and fewer elements to track.

3. Working pressure range 0.6–1.0 MPa The range covers ordinary 7 bar systems and reaches 10 bar for higher-pressure plants. The same model can therefore be specified across a plant instead of ordering a different housing for every pressure zone. Distributors can also hold one housing model for several plant pressures, which simplifies spare stock.

4. Inlet air up to 80 °C With an 80 °C inlet rating the filter can be installed closer to the compressor and aftercooler, where air is still warm. That placement protects the dryer from particulate load and extends element life downstream.

5. Flanged connections on both sides Flanged inlet and outlet give a full-bore, low-restriction connection at this flow rate, and a bolted joint that holds torque under pressure cycling. Flanges also let the filter be dropped into an existing pipe run without welding on site.

6. Bolted base flange The housing stands on a bolted base flange rather than hanging from the pipework. Weight and vibration go into the floor, the pipe connections are not loaded by the housing, and the unit stays stable on a skid or a concrete plinth.

7. Vertical housing, small footprint A vertical cylinder takes a narrow footprint, which matters in compressor rooms where the wall space is already used by dryers and receivers. Piping enters and leaves at the same height on both sides, so the run stays level.

8. Coated housing with nameplates The painted housing resists condensation and workshop atmosphere, and the metal nameplates carry the identification data on the unit itself, so service staff can read the model and ratings without checking paperwork.

9. Simple maintenance logic With no electrical parts, the filter has no controls to set and no power supply to route, so there is no setting to drift after commissioning and nothing to re-enter after a shutdown. Service is limited to checking pressure drop and changing the element, which keeps the unit suitable for remote plants and for sites without instrument technicians.
